Salt-free seasoning blend

Preparation time: 5 minutes


 

1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon crushed oregano
1 teaspoon dillweed
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon powdered lemon rind
1 teaspoon thyme

Combine in a small bowl and stir to mix well. Store in an airtight container. Use to season meats, fish, seafood, poultry, and vegetables.

Yield: 11 teaspoons
Serving Size: 1/2 teaspoon
